Services
KACL supports are divided by age group; simply, children (infant to eighteen years old) and adults (eighteen years old and over).
KACL provides supports for people with an intellectual disability, people with a serious mental illness, and people who have an intellectual disability and a serious mental illness. KACL also offers childcare services to Kenora.
Services for Children

For families requiring Children Services support, referrals must be made through Firefly Northwest, unless the family resides in a First Nation Community.
For families living in a First Nation Community, with a family member who may require support, please click here.
The Infant Development program is for children, infant to six years old, and support does not require a medical diagnosis.
The Child and Youth program is for children, six to eighteen years old, and support requires a medical diagnosis.

For people or for those who have a family member who may need support for an intellectual disability, a person must first apply and be assessed by Developmental Services Ontario.
